Where is the cheapest place for a golf/beach cart rental?
Most of the golf cart rental companies in Port A are very competitively priced. Some companies do offer different sizes of carts, some with stereos, some with extra perks. So it’s best to call around to determine availability and reserve your cart IN ADVANCE. In the Summer, they sell out fast!

Which restaurant has the best seafood in town?
Impossible to choose! There are SO MANY delicious options around town, and some of our family’s favorites are Fins Grill & Icehouse, Virginia’s on the Bay, Tortuga’s Saltwater Grill, Bluewater Cowboy and La Playa Mexican Grill.

When is mosquito season?
The short answer is there’s always a chance of mosquito season. With high humidity, one should expect mosquitoes especially after sundown and after a rain. They are less of a concern during cooler Fall and Winter months. Find my favorite insect repellent here.

Where is a good place to watch a football game?
Sports games are always fun to watch with friends at the coast. Some great places to gather for games might include Stingray’s Taphouse & Grill or Seafood & Spaghetti Works.

Every week, I receive questions about a variety of things related to Port Aransas, from where to find good food to when the next big beach event will be held. But I often get asked for my family’s go-to’s, so here’s a few FAQ about Port Aransas based on our favorites!
What is your favorite restaurant in town?
Seafood & Spaghetti Works is my family’s go-to.
Where is the best place to get a great margarita?
La Playa Mexican Grill
Where is your favorite place to shop in Port Aransas?
There are SO many good choices! But I’d have to say, I never leave town without stopping in Raggdoll Boutique, Coastal Closet, Cita, Lone Star Taste and Third Coast.
Who takes your photos and what kind of camera do you use?
I do! 90% of my blog photos are taken on my iPhone. Sometimes I’ll also use my Canon Rebel T7 DSLR camera, which I also love.
Where is your favorite beach marker to set up on the beach?
We enjoy being able to park close to where we set up our beach chairs, blanket and shade canopy. So we usually head down toward Marker 22-24 or so. However, in the off-season when the crowds have lessened, I like to be closer to the area between the south jetty and Horace Caldwell Pier.
Margarita, frozen or on the rocks?
On the rocks, with salt. Every time.
